ArchivalResource

Rose (Stephen C.) papers, 1949-1998.

The papers contain personal papers; records related to Rose's religion-centered journalistic, fund-raising, and activist work; and material related to his non-religious employment in journalism and music primarily after 1970. Rose's relations with Will D. Campbell and his participation in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's Student Interracial Ministry project should be of interest to researchers of civil rights activities in the American South.
